Dr. Sara’s dental career began at Semidey Dental as a Dental Assistant, where she quickly became a cherished member of the team. After taking a four-year hiatus to attend Dental School, where she earned several advanced certifications and awards for clinical excellence, she returned to Semidey Dental as an associate of Dr. Alex. In addition to her role at the practice, Dr. Sara is an adjunct professor at her alma mater Barry University where she earned her Masters degree in Biomedical Science. She teaches Oral Pathology and shares her passion and knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals.
Dr. Sara’s dedication to her patients is matched only by her commitment to her own professional growth. She actively pursues continuing education to expand her clinical scope, ensuring she remains at the forefront of dental advancements. Known for her compassionate approach and ability to put patients at ease, she finds great joy in helping people improve their oral health and rediscover their smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sara is an avid Panthers fan and enjoys crafting, improv, and performing. She shares her life with her beloved pet Roo and treasures time with her husband Justin and their young daughter Juliet. Dr. Sara’s enthusiasm for both her profession and her personal interests makes her a dynamic and inspiring presence both in and out of the dental chair.
Dr. Sara’s go to choice from the hygiene bar is mojito mint. Her favorite dental tip is, ‘Brush your teeth at night to keep your teeth; Brush your teeth in the morning to keep your friends!‘
