I became interested in orthodontics in college. I’m artistic and love working with my hands, but I always had an aptitude for math and science. I wanted a career that would allow me to pursue my two passions — having the artistic license to work with my hands while having the challenge of problem solving. My medium is not typical of most artists — I work with teeth. I engineer moving them to make a beautiful smile that has a profound impact on someone’s self-confidence and overall dental health.
