Dr. Simone Stalling was born and raised in Maryland. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where she was a scholar in the prestigious Meyerhoff Scholarship Program as well as an NEC Women’s All-Conference student-athlete in Division 1 Lacrosse. She graduated from UMBC Summa Cum Laude with a BSE in chemical engineering. Dr. Stalling then went on to earn Ivy-league dual doctoral degrees in both medicine and bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Following graduation from medical school, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Stalling then embarked on a three-year dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center and became board certified in dermatology. Dr. Stalling practiced dermatology in Tyler, Texas, for four years after the completion of her dermatology residency. She credits her residency experience working in the Skin Cancer and Pigmented Lesion Clinic, Hair & Nail Clinic, and Veteran’s Residency Clinic with providing a wealth of insight into the intricacies of diagnosing complex skin conditions as well as refining her use of diagnostic technology and surgical expertise. She gained additional experience learning to employ a wide range of cosmetic treatments. Dr. Stalling moved to Houston to be closer to her family and is happy to serve the dermatological needs of Houston-area residents.
