After earning a B.S. in Architecture from Georgia Tech, Dr. Talebi began her career designing dental and medical offices. She was immediately drawn to the rewarding aspects of hands-on dentistry and direct patient care. Working with dentists made her realize dentistry could be a life-affirming profession, which led her to earn a D.M.D. from the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Talebi focuses her holistic practice on total wellness dental care, connecting oral health to overall health. She interviews each patient concerning their habits and lifestyle to understand their specific needs, dental or systemic. Realizing that dental anxiety and fear of judgment are obstacles for patients, she makes their comfort a priority and offers compassionate, empathetic care during all procedures. A pain free experience and patient comfort is the focus of her treatment. Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Talebi provides modern bio-neutral and minimally invasive solutions. She stays current with dental technology and the latest techniques through outstanding hours of continuing education. She volunteers her time and her skills in dentistry at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic where she serves the underprivileged in Atlanta. After hours she keeps an active lifestyle that includes cooking, hiking and painting. She is an avid traveler and has visited more than 20 countries, as a solo backpacker. I have known Dr Shiva Talebi professionally since 2017 when we brought her on to join and enhance our dental practice family. As part of our long term exit transition strategy, it was imperative for us find the “right “ person to continue our relationship based practice with many of our patients being loyal to us for over 25 years. We are in the people business through dentistry and Dr Talebi continues that philosophy and tradition . She has a warm , engaging personality which exudes compassion , care and clinical excellence. Fast forward and she now owns the practice under the name of Tooth Architect Dental Care and gives our patients , former and new, the comfort that the treatment she performs or suggests is in their best interest and not hers… We are proud and quite pleased that our patients as well as the staff here are in excellent , caring hands.
