Dr. Taghechian is an alumni from Emory University who received a BS in biology and BA in chemistry. She continued her pursuit of knowledge by attending Emory School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Texas in Houston. By 2011, Dr. Taghechian joined Georgia Urology which she has practiced in for 9 years after. She was voted one of Atlanta’s Top Docs in 2019 for her medical and surgical excellence. Outside of work, Dr. Taghechian loves traveling and making memories with her husband, two young children, and extended family.

Dr. Taghechian is a wonderful, intelligent, warm, and highly trained physician and surgeon. I have known Dr. Taghechian since medical school, and have watched her hone her Urologic and Surgical skills for years. She has cared for my family members and mutual patients, and the feedback about her and her care has been nothing short of amazing. She goes above and beyond for her patients, is up to date on the latest treatments and technology, and deals with common and the not so common concern with excellent care.
