Dr. Kumar obtained her DDS degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She was born and raised in Singapore, and completed her BDS degree from Manipal University, India before joining UCLA. Between her two degrees, she worked for a year in Singapore conducting research relating to the oral microbiome. She has always been passionate about dentistry, participating in community outreach programs in Asia, USA and Jamaica.
