Dr. Ramos was born in Brazil and in 1998 he moved to the Greater Boston Area with his parents and his brother. He attended the University of Massachusetts for his undergraduate studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Ramos then moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Moving to Florida to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist turned out to be the best move he ever made. Not only did he become a Gator, but he also met the love of his life, Lauren. Dr. Ramos and Lauren are now married and have welcomed a new addition to their family, Gabriella.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Ramos attended the University of Florida AEGD program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) located in Seminole, Florida. While in residency, Dr. Ramos was able to further his training in all areas of dentistry. This included training at the prestigious Dawson Academy and a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His training has been geared towards comprehensive care, including simple and complex restorative cases.
In order to stay at the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Ramos has maintained affiliation with the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Ramos is committed to excellence and strives to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. Ramos is fluent in Portuguese and considers himself lucky and privileged to live and work in the community he loves. He loves to travel, read, the beach, soccer, spend time with his family, and to cheer on the Gators.
