Dr. Smith is a native of Southern California. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from U.C.L.A., his D.D.S. degree from U.O.P. School of Dentistry in San Francisco and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at University of Oregon in Portland. He was board certified in 1989 by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Los Angeles Dental Society. He served as editor of the quarterly publication of the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children for nine years and continues to serve on the executive board of that organization.
