Dr. Robert Pick received his Dental Degree (1980), Certificate of Residency in Periodontics (1982) and his Master of Science Degree (1982) all from Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Pick is currently engaged in full time private practice of Periodontics and Implants in Chicago.
He has published numerous articles in the scientific literature, has authored periodontal chapters in Clark’s Clinical Dentistry, Dental Clinics of North America, other chapters and manuscripts and co-edited the text “Lasers in Dentistry.” Dr. Pick has been featured on live closed circuit TV programs at the Chicago Dental Society and at the Hinman Dental Meetings. He is recognized by Dentistry Today as one of the top Leaders in Continuing Education. Dr. Pick was the recipient of the 1998 Gordon J. Christensen Outstanding Lecturer Recognition Award.

Hi Dr. Pick, Thank you VERY much for your help. I am really happy to be able to consult with you on these difficult cases I have, as I value your opinion above everyone else. I will get going with the short implants case and order 8mm long fixtures. I have placed them in the past, I am just not a big fan of anything shorter than 10mm and I agree with you. BTW, my mom is completing her restorative implant treatment with Dr. S. I placed 3 implants in LR area, one 10 years ago and two 4 months ago, and they are all parallel to each other. Dr. S gave me a big â€œkudosâ€, so I said I had a great teacher to thank â€“ YOU!!! I hope all is well. As you know, although you taught part time with us in the post graduate clinic, your efforts, teaching and lecture style, experience, materials, slides, cases and your surgical skill were the best of all the faculty we had!!
