I have known Dr. Menard for over eight years. He is technically phenomenal and is an oustanding craniofacial surgeon and patient advocate. Dr. Menard is an exceptional teacher and has been honored by Stanford University Plastic Surgery with teaching awards for his contributions to the residency program. He is a mentor, colleague, friend, and an extraordinary asset to Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Menard is perhaps technically the best surgeon I have worked with during my surgical training at Stanford. However, what impressed me most was his dedication to his patients and their families. For example, Dr. Menard would spend weeks planning and modelling complex facial reconstructive surgeries, sometimes even developing new instruments for the procedures. As a plastic surgeon and someone with a particular interest in cleft lip surgery, I have seen many people perform this surgery, but none get better long term results than Dr. Menard. If I had a child born with a cleft lip, I would want him to perform the repair. I don’t think I can give a higher recommendation.
