Robert I. Gluck M.D., is an upper extremity top doctor and microsurgeon
Board Certified and Fellowship trained in microscopic and orthopedic
hand surgery and non-surgical rehabilitation.
Dr. Gluck received his B.S. from Cornell University in 1979 and his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1982. He completed his residency in Surgery at North Shore- Long Island Jewish ( LIJ )Medical Center in 1987, where he was selected Chief Resident of the Year. He was asked to join the full-time faculty after completing his post-graduate fellowship in Orthopedic Hand and Microsurgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Dr. Gluck was privileged to train with Dr. Lawrence Hurst, developer of Xiaflex the breakthrough treatment for Dupuytrens disease. Dr. Gluck was appointed Chief of the Hand Service at LIJ and received a distinguished service award.
