Dr. Sivamani is a dear friend, trusted colleague, and incredible mentor. He is no doubt one of most compassionate, caring and responsible physicians I know. Working alongside him on a daily basis, I truly believe that every single one of his patients walks out of office feeling that this doctor is determined to do everything he can to help. Outside of clinic, Dr. Sivamani spends time conducting research in the clinical trial unit and his laboratory. He is dedicated in bridging cutting edge scientific discoveries with clinical care. His academic interests include skin barrier dysfunction, epidermal drug delivery, sebocyte physiology, and complimentary alternative medicine. Several times a year, Dr. Sivamani leads a team of residents and medical students to developing countries for healthcare related humanitarian work. On weekends, he consistently precepts medical students in free clinics caring for underserved patients in the community. One must wonder, how he finds time to accomplish all his amazing endeavors? He never fails to amaze me with his endless energy and infectious enthusiasm for improving the lives of those around him.

Dr. Sivamani is really a great physician. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends without a second thought. He integrates his expertise in translational medicine, clinical research and engineering into his practice seamlessly. He is also a great leader, and has made a big impact in his institution and in the dermatologic community. Additionally, Dr. Sivamani volunteers regularly in community clinics and also internationally, providing care to the underserved patient population. He should be the role model for all physicians!
