Dr. Nathan was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida. His original inspiration for his endeavors was the work of his father, who served as a facial plastic surgeon in the U.S. military.
As a high school senior, Dr. Nathan was accepted to the prestigious and highly competitive Honors Program in Medicine at the University of Miami. The program identifies high-aptitude students and grants them simultaneous admission to the Undergraduate School and the School of Medicine from high school.
