Dr. Nathan Jergensen, DMD, is Hemet born and raised. His early exposure to dentistry came in the form of orthodontics, where in his father’s successful practice, he considered becoming an orthodontist himself. His father, Dr. Tal D. Jergensen, still practices orthodontics in Hemet. Nathan determined, however, that his interest in general dentistry far outweighed his interest in braces.
He attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ for his dental training. After graduation, he moved on to a prestigious residency at UCLA where he received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. His intensive training in the UCLA program included cutting edge technical and experiential training in implants, root canals, gum surgery as well as all the other facets of general dentistry. His goal is to offer almost every procedure that a patient will need, including specialty services. He has set a high bar for his own professional and personal growth and believes his patients can benefit from not having to go to specialists if he can provide a better procedure in his own office.
Dr. Nathan Jergensen is deeply connected to the community with a high level of civic duty and enjoys giving service whenever he can. While attending Hemet High School he played water polo and was on the swim team. It was always his dream to come back to his roots and continue to serve the community he grew up in. Throughout his college years, he spent two years serving a mission in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Singapore. When you meet Dr. Nathan Jergensen, don’t hesitate to ask him about his service and the languages he learned while serving the people of those countries.
Most importantly, Dr. Nathan Jergensen is here to stay. Hemet is his home and he’s proud to offer a special service in general dentistry to the people of this community. He’s looking forward to meeting you and helping you in reaching your oral health goals.
