Aside from private practice, Dr. Emami have also has joined University of Toronto (Faculty of Dentistry) since 2007 on a part-time basis in the position of clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontics. She places a great amount of pride and emphasis on continuing education, and therefore she is currently working on her fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry. To broaden her knowledge and skills and to educate herself in the upcoming advances and evolving technologies in her field, she has taken extensive continuing education courses in various disciplines in dentistry.

As the inventor of the Pinhole Surgical Technique, which repositions recede gums to their normal position without cutting or stitching, I have personally trained over two hundred dentists from all over the world in this revolutionary method.
