While originally from central Ohio, Dr. Shank moved to Indiana in 2000 and has lived here for the majority of the time since. He received his B.S. from Indiana Wesleyan University in Biology and Pre-Medical Science and his D.D.S. from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2008. Since completing dental school, Dr. Shank has completed many hours of continuing education in topics such as sedation dentistry, placement and restoration of dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), and many others. In addition to working at the office, Dr. Shank also holds an appointment at the Indiana University School of Dentistry as part-time clinical faculty teaching clinical dentistry to 3rd and 4th-year dental students. Dr. Shank currently lives in Greenwood with his wife, Brooke Shank, who is currently practicing as an orthodontist serving the south side of Indianapolis, Greenwood, and South port areas as well. They are currently ‘parents’ to one little girl, a miniature schnauzer named Starbuck.
