Dr. King was born and raised in Fremont, CA. As a child, she spent much of her time working with her hands. Whether it was taking apart electronics around the house, or building miniature doll houses and trains, she was always tinkering with something. She then pursued a degree and a career in engineering, all the while dreaming of dentistry.
After several years as an engineer, she decided to pursue her dental dreams, and started dental school. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2000 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. Dr. King decided to start her very own practice in 2002, and for over two decades now, she has been rebuilding smiles and creating lifelong relationships as the owner of Kitty Hawk Dental Care in Livermore, CA.
When she’s not working, Dr. King loves traveling and skiing with her daughter. You’ll often find her curled up with a good book, unless she’s spending quality time with her friends and family.
