Dr. Joseph A. Narde, DDS, attended Oklahoma State University for 3 years as an undergraduate. He was accepted into the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry during his junior year, where he graduated in 1989.
Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Army. During his five years of service, he completed the Army Dental Corps, a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Ft. Benning, GA, and was the top graduate from this program in 1990. He then served 3 years in Germany with “Big Red One” Forward Division in Goeppingen; followed by service with 7th Corp and 7th Medcom.
Following his service in the military, Dr. Narde chose to make his home in Columbus, GA. Dr. Narde has served the residents of Columbus, GA, and surrounding areas through private practice since 1994. During this time, he has continued to pursue his education by completing the Maxi-Course in Implant Dentistry through the Medical College of Georgia in 2000, completing a 1-year education program with American Orthodontic and obtaining his certification in Orthodontics in 2004, and furthering his education in Sleep Dentistry.
Dr. Narde is an active member of his community. He was part of the Jaycees from 1995-2000, and was nominated for the JR Allen Memorial Award in 2000. He has volunteered and served at various dental health fairs. He has been active with the Columbus Technical College Dental Hygiene Program since 1998, where he also served on the Hygiene Board and Columbus Technical College Foundation for several years.
