Jonith Y. Breadon, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and a lifelong resident of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree from Stritch School of Medicine – Loyola University Chicago. She completed her internship in medicine at Cook County Hospital. She then completed her first residency in Emergency Medicine with the University of Illinois Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then went on to complete a second residency in dermatology at Howard University in Washington DC.
She is also a lecturer and injection instructor for several companies – including Valeant, Medicis’ Perlane, and Dysport – where she teaches other physicians proper cosmetic injection techniques. Dr. Breadon shares her expertise as a media consultant for local and national television news broadcasts, as well as appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a guest expert consultant. She is also a speaker at national and international dermatology conferences. Dr. Breadon is dual board certified. She holds certification from the American Board of Dermatology in addition to the American College of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Breadon is the former president of the Chicago Dermatological Society, and past vice president of the Chicago Dermatologic Society.
