Dr. Schlessinger is an incredible physician, teacher and human being. He runs one of the most organized well run Cosmetic Surgery meetings with a super team not missing a beat. There is so much information shared among the Key opinion Leaders in this interdisciplinary meeting who return every year and since we love this meeting. I am also pleased that he mentors residents by giving them a strong presence, presentations and mentorship to create excellent attendings. Joel is one (maybe the only) meeting leader who has a panel where residents are positioned to ask CEO’s of companies questions – an interesting reverse of roles. Joel is one of the best!
