Hello, I’m Greg G. Pitts, DDS. My profession is dentistry but my passion is providing the best possible care for my patients. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Provo and graduated from Timpview High. Following an LDS mission, I attended BYU on a football scholarship and played as a linesman for the Cougars. I earned a BS in Exercise Science while there and, more importantly, I met the former Melisa Bateman who became my wife.
Following graduation from BYU, Melisa and I moved to Omaha, Nebraska where I attended Creighton Dental School, earning my DDS in 1999. Upon graduation, we returned to Utah and established my American Fork dental practice that same year. My family has grown along with my dental practice. Melisa and I now have four beautiful daughters and live in Highland.
In addition to interacting with my patients, I enjoy riding my Harley on scenic Utah roads, mountain biking the Porcupine Rim in Moab, or skiing in waist-deep powder on the slopes at Deer Valley.
I am actively involved with Utah Valley athletics and work continually to raise awareness of the need for tooth protection in organized sports and recreational activities. I currently serve as the official dentist for the BYU and UVU athletic departments.
I am a member of the ADA, AGD, UDA and American Academy of Sport Dentistry. If you want more information about my training or qualifications, please call my office. We would be happy to answer any of your questions.
