For 30 years, Dr. Greg L. Gist has proudly served the people of North Texas and beyond from his dental practice in Southlake Texas. Dr. Gist’s state-of-the-art Dental Office is in the same location that he has practiced in for three decades.
Dr. Gist graduated with honours from Texas Tech University receiving a B.A. in Sociology along with a double minor in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Gist then graduated with honours and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas Texas. Dr. Gist has studied personally under Bill Strupp DDS in Clearwater Florida for over 20 years, and has attended the Strupp Postgraduate School of Fixed Prosthetic Dentisry

The amount of time and effort that Dr. Gist and his restorative team devote to making sure that the \’biology is sterile\’ prior to placing any prosthetic restoration is like nothing I have ever seen. As a board certified Endodontist, I have reviewed scores of research articles that identify the reasons behind the success or failures of root canal treatments, and failed dentistry as a whole. The bottom line in all in all these studies reinforces the fact that Bacteria leaking under a restoration or bacterial left under the restoration can cause root canal failure and tooth loss, and potentially septic systemic effects on the human body. I absolutely agree with Dr. Gist\’s philosophy and appreciate his \’Holy Triad\’ of surgical scrubs to clean and sterilize all hard and soft tissue during his restorative procedures, as well as the microbiology, the conservative and artistic way in which he prepares teeth. The systemic health of his patients assures me that my patients are getting the very best in their restorative and cosmetic dental care. In over 30 years of teaching and private practice, I can safely say that no one I have ever encountered \’does it better\’ for the health and well being of their patients, than Dr. Gist and his amazing team!\”
