I have known Erez since our days as general surgery residents applying for the plastic surgery match, and I have witnessed his hard work and commitment to his patients as well as the respect he gained among his colleagues. It was no surprise to me that he chose to go to Harvard for his plastic surgery training and then spend an additional year in Dallas under the mentorship of one of the world’s most respected plastic surgeons, Dr. Rod Rohrich. Plastic surgeons are typically the toughest critiques of other plastic surgeons, but as I have known Erez professionally and witnessed his bedside manners, technical skills and thrive to perfection, I trust him to operate on my immediate family.

Dr. Erez Dayan is one of the most brilliant plastic surgeons that I know. I’ve been fortunate to know him for over a decade. He’s always excelled at everything he did and does. In General Surgery Residency when most others are usually struggling to keep up with the pace he actually helped pioneer the lymph node transplant procedure and wrote a lymphedema book (in residency!). Then in Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Dr. Dayan rose to the occasion and became the chief fellow of one of the most prestigious plastic surgery programs in the US. He continued to impress me with dozens of new cases that he does which are extremely challenging and differ from each other. When most surgeons super-specialize and find one niche that they’re good at Dr. Dayan seems be great at everything. On top of all his academic and clinical success he still takes the time to be a great dad to his 2 kids. I personally consult him for many difficult foot and ankle cases when it comes to soft tissue coverage and he always takes time out of his busy day to help an old friend out. The sky is the limit for Dr. Dayan! Dallas as well as countless of patients in the surrounding area are very lucky to have him.
