I have been working with Dr. Evans for several years now as he volunteers his personal time at our indigent clinic at the University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin. I worked with him as a resident, and now we staff that clinic together once a month. Dr. Evans is an excellent and compassionate clinician. He is also a great mentor and role model to our residents. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with him. He truly is a gem in Austin and in our specialty!

Dr. Evans (and his practice) is the only dermatologist I refer to in Austin. He is extremely responsive in that he “fits” ER follow ups in quickly and happily discusses difficult derm cases with me when I “consult” from the ER. He is knowledgable about even the most obscure and complex conditions. I would not hesitate to refer my family members to him.

Dr. Evans is a “rock-star.” He is well-trained, thoughtful, compassionate, respectful, and quite simply a great person and physician. As a professor at a state medical school, I sometimes care for patients that are moving to Austin, either on a temporary basis or permanent basis.
