Hi, my name is Christina Mueller and I am a sixth generation Texan, born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I went to undergrad at Southern Methodist University on a full athletic scholarship; I threw the discus for the track and field team at SMU, and graduated with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Biology. My dream was to become an Olympic athlete but when I did not make it to the 2008 Olympic Trials, I was only 0.02 meters away from making the mark, I decided it was time to turn my focus on becoming a dentist. After my collegiate career, I continued my studies and got my masters in public health at the University of Texas School of Public Health – San Antonio before entering dental school here in San Antonio. I graduated from dental school in 2015 and went and practiced at a pediatric office in Corpus Christi, TX. During my first position outside of dental school, I was able find my true passion for pediatric dentistry and decided to return to get my certificate in pediatric dentistry. I moved back to San Antonio in 2018 and then Graduated from the Pediatric Program in the Peak of COVID, June 2020, and have been providing dental care to children in the San Antonio Surrounding Areas since. I am married with two kids and two dogs. During my free time I like to workout, go for walks with my family with dogs in tow and play board games.
