I was brought up in an art- and science-loving environment and have been given a great opportunity to become both an orthodontist and an artist! I chose dentistry, which combines art and science and fell in love with orthodontics, the science of facial harmony and aesthetics. I attended dental school in my home country, Iran. In 2010, I immigrated to the United States to continue my education and pursue a new direction in my professional life.
I studied dentistry at my dream school, UCSF, and then earned my certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in kinesiology at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Soon after graduation, I obtained my board certification and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Over the past 15 years, I have provided excellent care to thousands of patients in various settings. I have also worked in public healthcare services for a few years, an experience that taught me a great deal about public health, patient management, and working under strict conditions.
The most precious and exciting aspect of orthodontics for me is bringing a smile to my patients’ faces and knowing that my work has a meaningful impact on their lives. Orthodontics can be a fun and inspiring journey for our patients, and I love being part of such a life-changing experience on a daily basis.”
