Dr. Andrew S. Wiemeyer is an esteemed prosthodontist who graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1998. Upon graduating, he completed a three-year residency where he earned a certificate of specialty in prosthodontics. Dr. Wiemeyer’s father, Dr. Peter Wiemeyer, began Wiemeyer dentistry in 1973 and his son Andrew took over the practice in 2001. Dr. Andrew Wiemeyer enjoys staying on top of the dental field by employing the latest and most advanced technologies, including the Diode hand-held laser for gum recontouring. He belongs to the American Dental Association, Shamrock Dental Study Club, and the American College of Prosthodontists. His expertise spans prosthodontic, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Wiemeyer is not only a successful dentist, but also an avid musician and athlete, enjoying coaching youth soccer and playing tennis.
