Dr. Athar has practiced general dentistry for eleven years, and has spent the last five years focusing on the area of orthodontics. He is one of very few dentists in North America to have received advanced training and specialization in the field of Orthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Complex orthodontic issues are his specialty, which he addresses with simple mechanics. Dr. Athar has extensive training and experience in the use of fixed and functional orthodontic appliances. He is also a Certified Invisalign Preferred Provider.

Dr Athar is such a unique caring orthodontist who provides ethical and patient oriented results. He had tremendous experience in getting teeth straight and beautiful in predictable manner and time. He was able to help patients who had time constraints like weddings,graduations etc. He still manages to keep clinical and academic responsibilities as I have seen him giving lectures to dental students and orthodontic residents. He is one of few orthodontists who are also qualified in oral and maxillo-facial radiology . He is not only great doctor but exceptional human being.
