Board Certified Dermatologist and Pediatrician Dr. Aurora Badia completed dermatology training in Albany, New York in 2001. Shortly after, she founded Florida Skin Center as a full-service facility with state-of-the-art treatments and amenities. The National Osteopathic Pediatric Dermatology Certification Board relies on her professional input. Dr. Badia’s background as a dermatologist and pediatrician makes her uniquely qualified to provide medical dermatology care for patients of all ages, at Florida Skin Center, including newborn babies. Under her direction, this is the only practice in the area to provide narrowband UVB phototherapy for treatment of eczema and psoriasis, as well as Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, and dermatopathology services. Our practice is also equipped with a full laser suite, and offers aesthetic dermatology treatments.

I have known and practiced closely with Dr. Badia for over 10 years. She is one of the most competent and compassionate physicians with whom I ever have had the opportunity to work. She has an extremely broad and deep knowledge of dermatology, as evidenced by her ability to diagnose and treat “everyday” and also complicated skin conditions in both kids (bonus: she is also a pediatrician!) and adults. Dr. Badia is extremely smart, genuine, and kind, and she always puts her patients first. In addition, Dr. Badia has created a wonderful team providing top-notch care at Florida Skin Canter, and the full range of services (from medical dermatology to cosmetic dermatology to phototherapy to Mohs surgery to dermatopathology) that she and her team provide to patients is incredible. Dr. Badia should be at the top of anyone’s list of top dermatologists, and I am proud to call her my colleague.
