Dr. Amar, veterinarian in Jacksonville, FL has been practicing over seven years in Florida. After graduating with Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in India, Dr Amar began his journey in USA with master’s degree program in College of Veterinary medicine at University of Georgia (UGA). He completed extensive veterinary licensing tests through American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and then became a veterinarian licensed to practice in Florida. Before joining Bluestar Pet Hospital, he worked as a veterinarian at a high-volume charity veterinary hospital in south Florida, and soon, he became popular as a compassionate and caring veterinarian in the area. He always believes that pets are the purest expression of nature and God and serving them is an honor. He moved to Jacksonville mainly to begin his children’s education in the high-quality St John’s school district.
His professional interests are Wellness & Preventive Care, Dermatology, Internal medicine, Emergency Care, and various soft tissue surgeries. He is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA).
In his free time, Dr Amar, likes to spend time with his children, family, and pets. He likes gardening, spending time in nature, watching sports, and playing tennis, and he is a big fan of Roger Federer.
