Dr. Ahmed Shoukry joined North Texas Podiatry Associates after relocating from Chicago, IL. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Shoukry feels right at home in the dry Dallas heat and sunny weather. He lived in Germany, the United States and Egypt growing up. He completed high school near Atlanta, Georgia, attended Cairo University Medical School and completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Ain Shams University in Cairo.
Dr. Shoukry returned to the United States in 2005 to marry his lovely wife and decided to go back to school. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2013 and completed his postgraduate training at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2016.
Dr. Shoukry spent 2 years in private practice in the Chicagoland area, serving diverse populations and needs. Dr. Shoukry is trained in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, and has ample experience in wound care and diabetic limb salvage. However, good patient education and high-quality treatment are the most important aspects of his practice. Dr. Shoukry works to forge relationships with all of his patients to ensure that they partner together to achieve the best results.
