Suzanne Baptista, DDS

Dr. Suzanne Baptista received her Doctor of Dental Surgery designation from the University of Western Ontario in 2005 following completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Economics at McGill University. She completed a summer dental student Oral Surgery externship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After obtaining her professional degree, she went on to postgraduate studies in a one-year General Practice Residency Program at the State University of New York (Stony Brook). Prior to becoming principal dentist of Baptista Dentistry and caring for Dr. Bruce Twible’s practice following his retirement, she worked in long-standing practices in Richmond Hill, Pickering, and the Toronto Financial District.

Dr. Baptista is dedicated to continuously expanding her dental expertise, and in June 2013 (Nashville, Tennessee) was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization that emphasizes excellence in dentistry through a commitment to lifelong continuing education. Fellowship Award requirements include completing 500 credit hours of additional dental education and a rigorous examination. Dr. Baptista is accompanied by only 5% of general dentists in North America who have been recipients of this distinguished Award. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Toronto Crown & Bridge Study Club. She has pursued additional training in implant dentistry and is a certified Invisalign orthodontics provider.
