Dr. Sumana Kafle

I am passionate about treating my pediatric dental patients and gain satisfaction in developing their trust and making them feel comfortable. I strongly believe that getting children to feel comfortable at the dentist’s office at an early age can lead to a lifetime of pleasant and positive dental experiences. ‍ I strive to make every child’s dental visit an enjoyable experience by bringing a warm, fun, and personal approach to dental care. I am truly honored to be a part of this dental team where every team member is passionate about education and prevention in oral health. ‍ I attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, I was the President of the Pediatric Club and actively involved in community service including Dental Health Fair, Special Olympics, Dental Van, and Give Kids a Smile Day. I also received the Certificate of Merit Pre-doctoral Student Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for excellence in pediatric dentistry. ‍ As a volunteer for NYU’s dental campaign to Grenada, I provided dental care and education to underprivileged children. My experiences there reinforced my passion for working with children and adolescents. I entered my pediatric dentistry residency at Yale New Haven Hospital where I furthered my training in all aspects of pediatric dental care.
