Dr. Sowmya Kanumilli, D.M.D.

Dr. Sowmya Kanumilli attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with Honors as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kanumilli is a member of American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, The Northern Virginia Dental Association and is Invisalign certified. Following graduation, she worked in all aspects of dentistry and particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry. She finds it very rewarding that by a smile makeover she is able to help improve her patient’s appearance and their outlook in life. She also believes that Continuing education is the key to clinical excellence. Dr. Kanumilli has been recognized by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as the America’s Top Dentist for 2011 and 2012. She is considered by her patients to be prompt and friendly providing the highest standard of dentistry and service. Dr.Kanumilli and her husband Vinod reside in Ashburn and have a young son Abhinav and pet dog Coco.Her passions include spending time with family and travelling. She is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi.
