Dr. Shaya Taghechian, MD

Dr. Taghechian is an alumni from Emory University who received a BS in biology and BA in chemistry. She continued her pursuit of knowledge by attending Emory School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Texas in Houston. By 2011, Dr. Taghechian joined Georgia Urology which she has practiced in for 9 years after. She was voted one of Atlanta’s Top Docs in 2019 for her medical and surgical excellence. Outside of work, Dr. Taghechian loves traveling and making memories with her husband, two young children, and extended family.
