Dr. Sang Kim

Dr. Sang Kim is a board-certified Dermatologist and founder of Beyond Skin Dermatology He seeks to seamlessly integrate dermatologic expertise and a passion for healthy lifestyle habits. A graduate of the Uniformed Services University in 2013, Dr. Kim served as a Naval Flight Surgeon for four years before completing a dermatology residency at the prestigious Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

With three years of experience as the Navy’s sole dermatologist in mainland Japan, Dr. Sang Kim brings a wealth of experience in addressing diverse skin conditions. Dr. Kim has a special interest in helping patients feel confident in their skin through the optimization of lifestyle factors and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Sang Kim is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying snowboarding, hiking, and camping. He enjoys spending time with his wife Soo Yeon, practice manager of Beyond Skin Dermatology, and their two children. They also love walking their 10-year-old Shiba Inu, Hachi. He is excited to call Denver his new home after 15 years of service in the U.S. Navy.
