Dr. Ruth Hernandez, MD

I am family physician, licensed in California since 2004. Born in Peru, raise in Mexico and educated in Guadalajara at Autonomous University where I get MD. Later my family move to USA, so I decide to study hard in order to pass USMLE tests, after I passed I applied to a Residency in Family Medicine and was accepted at University of Puerto Rico (2000-2003) . I became Certified of American Board of Family Practice in 2003. Currently my husband, David Hernandez Internal Medicine doctor, and I have 4 medical offices in underserve communities where there is a significant lack of cultural and bilingual Primary Care Physician.
