However, what impressed me most was his dedication to his patients and their families. For example, Dr. Menard would spend weeks planning and modelling complex facial reconstructive surgeries, sometimes even developing new instruments for the procedures. As a plastic surgeon and someone with a particular interest in cleft lip surgery, I have seen many people perform this surgery, but none get better long term results than Dr. Menard.
