Dr. Rania Agha, MD, FAAD

Dr. Rania Agha MD FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist who performs Mohs micrographic surgery at Dermatology Specialists of Illinois in Algonquin.

She completed the prestigious Indiana University School of Medicine Dermatology residency and a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery under the mentorship of world renowned facial plastic surgeon William H. Beeson, MD and Cosmetic surgeon Robert F. Jackson, MD.

Dr. Agha earned her medical school degree from the Chicago Medical School, as well as her masters of science degree in human physiology. She had also earned her bachelor of arts in biology and psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School.

She has an extensive research background and published numerous scientific articles in peer reviewed journals. She also completed two research fellowships at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a clinical trials fellowship at Northwestern University.

Dr. Agha is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the young physician section representative of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at the American Medical Association(AMA), and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
