Dr. Noz Yamauchi, D.D.S.

Dr. Yamauchi earned his doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) and master’s in endodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He moved to Honolulu in 2010. Additionally, Dr. Yamauchi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, which is the highest level of certification that can be achieved in the specialty of endodontics. He is one of the only few active Board-Certified endodontists in all of Hawaii.

An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in saving teeth. They have an additional two to three years of specialized training beyond the four years of a general dental program of study. They have advanced expertise in treating even the most complex endodontic procedures, including root canal treatment and endodontic surgery.

Dr. Yamauchi’s research has been published in the Journal of Endodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Hawaii Dental Association, Honolulu Dental Society and several study clubs.

When he is not providing endodontic care to the people of Hawaii, Dr. Yamauchi enjoys playing soccer, surfing, hiking, volunteering, eating, and spending time with his wife Erica, daughter Isa, and his family and friends.
