Dr. Monica Li, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Monica Li is a double board-certified dermatologist (USA and Canada) at the McDaniel Laser and Cosmetic Centre in Virginia Beach.

Dr. Li is the recipient of numerous academic, leadership and research awards. She is the author of numerous publications and has served as primary or co-investigator for various research studies. Her interests and backgrounds beyond dermatology, aesthetic medicine and laser surgery include clinical epidemiology and medical education.

Dr. Li is an active committee member for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Women's Dermatologic Society. She is a reviewer for various scientific journals including the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, the official publication for the Canadian Dermatology Association.

Outside of medicine, she is a concert pianist and former competitive swimmer.
