Maryam Moinfar, M.D. named “Woman of the Year in Medicine and Healthcare, 2009” is a native of Orange County. She is both a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon that understands the importance of healthy and radiant skin. Her areas of expertise include Mohs Microscopic Surgery, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Moinfar attended the prestigious University of California, Berkley for her undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology and graduated at the top of her class. She has continued education from Northwestern University Medical School, where she received her medical degree. A high achiever, Maryam Moinfar, M.D graduated at both institutions with honors including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Award. With passion and expertise, Maryam Moinfar, M.D. boldly heads our team of physicians in her drive to unite high level academic medicine with cutting edge technologies to make the team at Advanced Dermatology the go to for any and all dermatological needs; with particular attention to skin cancer prevention and treatment.
