Dr. Mariel Bird, D.O.

Dr. Mariel Bird, D.O. joined Advanced Dermatology in early 2020 as the medical director of Advanced’s Howland location. Dr. Bird is a Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in early detection and treatment of skin cancer, as well as treating medical conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. She is also passionate about and highly experienced in cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Bird earned her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and served as Chief Intern at Nova Southeastern University. She completed her residency at Michigan State University, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and is a Special Topics in Dermatology reviewer for the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association.
