Dr. Larry Porteous, D.D.S.

Dr. Porteous is a Bay Area native raised in Berkeley, Ca. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon returning to the Bay Area, he obtained his California Dental License and completed a general practice residency program at Olive View Medical Center in Van Nuys, California with an emphasis in Oral Surgery. Experience during the residency program included visits to outlying clinics providing emergency dental care to the underprivileged in the greater Los Angeles area.

Dr. Larry met his wife Linda while she was completing her dental hygiene degree at Chabot College in Hayward. For 2 years they each practiced in separate group offices while exploring the opportunities to open their own private practice.
