“Had been considering hair restoration for years but was always leery of the procedure ie. pain and results. Dr. Anderson is a Board certified Plastic Surgeon and limits his practice to only hair restoration. Since I was coming in from out of town, my consultation was done after sending pictures to their office via email. A meeting time was arranged online and Dr Anderson went over my case by phone showing me on the computer via go to meeting.com He answered all of my questions and spent close to 30 minutes talking to me. The office is clean and well appointed, the procedure was PAINLESS, the staff more than courteous, a follow up call on Sunday to see how I was doing (procedure done on Friday). He uses cutting edge adjuncts such as prp (platelet rich plasma) as well as topical after care sprays to help optimize results. Very pleased so far. I arrived at the office at 7:30 and started procedure around 9. Post operatively have not taken any pain meds after receiving approximately 2500 grafts. Light oral sedation with valium prior to procedure. Uses a vibrator to distract and minimize discomfort during injections to numb areas (barely felt injections). Strip method used in my case which was about 3/8 inch wide from posterior area of scalp, sutured such that my wife said suture line is difficult to see even at only 3 days post op. Took about 1.5 hours to harvest graft and suture donor site closed, NOT stapled. Minimal swelling on forehead which is expected but NO PAIN! Was able to talk to staff while follicles were being dissected, very cordial. Had lunch around noon could get up to stretch my legs, go to restroom get a drink throughout procedure. The procedure was very easy and would not hesitate to do it again to augment after results are seen. Could not be happier with my choice of provider of service. I thought the price was very fair especially with prp and post op medicaments given. Post op instructions were/are very thorough and detailed. Being a health care provider (specialist) my self, I wanted a surgeon who only does hair restoration procedures every day, not occasionally. Having one that is also a plastic surgeon is the best of both worlds. You will be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable or skilled surgeon for this procedure than Dr. Anderson. And his technicians and staff have been with him for several years. That also says a lot. If you are considering hair restoration give Dr. Anderson in Atlanta Strong Consideration!”
