Dr. Karen Ho

After earning a B.Sc from McMaster University (with distinction) in 1998, Dr. Ho went on to obtain her DDS from the University of Toronto, graduating with honors in 2002. She then completed a year of General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital, gaining experience in all disciplines of dentistry, before going into private practice in 2003.

Dr. Ho has continued her love of learning and dentistry through her affiliation with the Academy of General Dentistry, the institute for Clinical Practice of Pediatric Dentistry, the Dawson Academy Study Club, the Niagara Peninsula Dental Diagnostic Study Club and the Seattle Study club (Hamilton chapter) for which she is a founding member. Dr. Ho has also studied Tongue tie surgery at Boston University and Tufts University.

Dr. Ho believes that better oral health leads to a better quality of life, and the first step is to engage each patient through effective patient communication, education and treatment. She intends to make sure each patient leave feeling better than when they came in.
