Dr. Joel Fugleberg, DC

Dr. Joel Fugleberg graduated from Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Plymouth, MN before attending the University of MN-Morris. There he graduated with a BA in biology before completing his doctorate training at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN.

Injuries while wrestling for the University of MN-Morris led Dr. Fugleberg to a career in chiropractic . He notes that he was impressed with his injury recovery after being adjusted and liked the holistic nature of the profession. His athletic background has led Dr. Fugleberg to work with high school sports teams; he has also provided care for players of the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, & Vixen.

Dr. Fugleberg worked for several years at a busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Chanhassen and a short-time at a non-profit clinic in Costa Rica. “I’ve been blessed to treat newborns to 94 year olds and everyone in between!” remarks Dr. Fugleberg.

As a perpetual learner, Dr. Fugleberg has taken post-graduate educational coursework in various chiropractic techniques and has completed coursework towards his Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma. In addition, he has taken courses toward being certified in Wellness Science through the International Chiropractic Association.

He is well-versed in corrective chiropractic, nutritional strategies and wellness care. In fact, Dr. Fugleberg’s book, “St. Paul Chiropractor Reveals: 48 Self Strategies to Stop and Prevent Back Pain,” can be found on Amazon. As an advocate of natural health & wellness and a fitness enthusiast – Dr. Fugleberg can be requested to lecture in the community on a variety of topics.

Award In his spare time, Dr. Fugleberg most enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. He and his wife Ann have 3 children under the age of 8 which helps him accomplish both! He is also involved in his community church, Oxboro Evangelical Free Church and volunteers at various events as an EMT and as a coach at a nearby high school.

An active member in his local Dakota County Chamber of Commerce – Dr. Fugleberg was the recent recipient of the 2015 Business of Excellence – Young Professional Award!

Dr. Fugleberg’s mission is to empower individuals and families to take a more active role in their health and to educate them on the role chiropractic plays in promoting optimal health and function.
