Dr. Jessica Johnson, DVM

Dr. Jessica Johnson is the owner and lead veterinarian at Great Plains Veterinary Clinic. A 2017 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Johnson has worked with a wide variety of animals, both large and small, throughout her career. Her journey eventually brought her to Montana, where she fell in love with the stunning landscape and the welcoming, tight-knit community. After years in practice, Dr. Johnson felt inspired to create something more personal: a veterinary clinic that builds meaningful connections with pets and their people. When the opportunity arose to open her own practice, she took the leap—and Great Plains Veterinary Clinic was born. Outside the clinic, Dr. Johnson lives a full and joyful life with her husband (who can fix just about anything), their two energetic kids, two beloved dogs, and two horses. Whether she’s hiking, riding, or just spending time outdoors, she embraces everything Montana has to offer with gratitude and enthusiasm.
