Jerald S. Pruner, BSc, DMD, FRCD (C)

Dr. Jerald S. Pruner has been practicing as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in Edmonton, Alberta since 2008. He graduated with a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta prior to obtaining his D.M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Pruner joined the surgeons at South Edmonton Oral Surgery after completing 4 years of residency training in Seattle, Washington and qualifying for fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Pruner has admitting privileges with Alberta Health Services and provides both elective and emergent surgical care in hospital and non-hospital settings.

In addition to a busy clinical practice, Dr. Pruner has an appointment in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor. He has been involved with the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists as an executive member and maintains membership with the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
