Dr. Jason Starace, DDS

Dr. Starace graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Rochester.

After graduating from college, he worked for TES Environmental Corp in Rochester, NY, as a project monitor. It was at this time he began volunteering at a dental office that provided care for an underserved community in Rochester, NY.

After earning his DDS, Dr. Starace stayed at Stony Brook for three more years to complete an Advanced Education Program in Periodontics.

Dr. Starace splits his time between dental implant practice and academia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. There he provides clinical instruction to dental students and residents in the specialty of Periodontology for their patients’ needs.

Dr. Starace is board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery by The American Board of Periodontology. He focuses on the nonsurgical, surgical, and laser treatment of periodontal disease, bone and soft tissue grafting, and dental implant surgery.
